Teledyne Brown Engineering employees may choose from a variety of healthcare, dental, life, long-term disability, and short-term disability benefits under the Company benefit program. Employees may design the best benefits package to suit the needs of the entire family. During the enrollment period, employees may modify their coverage to take advantage of any family changes or needs.   • Medical Insurance

    Two Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plans are offered for you to select the one most suitable for you and your eligible dependents.
  • Dental Insurance

    Company paid dental insurance is provided through Delta Dental of California
  • Vision Insurance

    Vision insurance is company paid for employee and optional coverage is available for dependents.
  • Prescription Coverage

    If you enroll in the Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plan, you will automatically be enrolled with Caremark, at no additional premium.

    Optional accidental life coverage for employee and/or family up to $750,000
  • Long-term Disability Insurance (LTD)

    Optional LTD coverage that covers 60% of pay

    Pays 60% of monthly income if you are injured or ill for more than 6 months
  • Short-term Disability Insurance (STD)

    Optional STD insurance that covers 60% of pay that begins after the 13th day of accident or sickness
  • 401 (k) Plan

    Employee is immediately eligible to participate upon employment.   Effective after 90 days of employment, the company match of 50% of each dollar contributed on the first 6% of base pay
  • Stock Purchase Plan

    Employee is eligible for participation after one year of employment. The company will add a 25% match to the employee’s investment

    Pre-tax contributions up to 50% of salary, not to exceed IRS current allowed dollar limit; with Company Match.
  • Stock Purchase Plan

    Post-tax contributions up to 15% of salary or $92.00 a week, whichever is less; Company matches 25%; No brokerage fees for purchase of Teledyne Technologies Stock; One year waiting period

    After 90 days of employment, this program provides computer loans on an interest-free basis
  • Matching Gifts Program

    The Matching Gifts Program encourages employees to join with the Company in making financial contributions to educational civic and cultural institutions. The Company will match gifts to qualifying institutions from a minimum of $50 to a maximum of $2,500 per calendar year. Employees are eligible for this program after one year of employment

    Ten paid holidays each calendar year.  Employees located at Government/Prime Contractor locations may have a different holiday schedule

    With prior approval, employees may work less than 8 hours on some days and more than 8 hours on others, as long as they work at least 80 hours during the 2-week pay period for salaried employees and 40 hours during a one week period for hourly employees

    Special Part Time employment is available with benefits (employees must work a minimum of 32 hours weekly)

    Part Time employment without benefits is also available

  • Company Picnic

    This event takes place the second Saturday in June each year in our     recreation area. Food, music, and midway games are provided for family enjoyment

    All kids ages 0-12 look forward to this event each year on the Friday before Easter in our recreation area

    TBE holds an annual ice cream social to ring in the summer
