Aerospace Systems
Aerospace Systems of Teledyne Brown Engineering is involved in a broad range of program activities in aerospace and defense systems.
- For over half a century, we have supported essentially every U.S. space program -- from Explorer I through the International Space Station and Ares.
- As the Systems Development & Operations Support contractor, we serve MSFC's ongoing programs and continue our 50-year involvement in the Nation's lunar and planetary explorations.
- We are one of the prime contractors supporting the development of Ares I through the Systems Engineering and Project Support (SEPS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).
- We design and manufacture a wide variety of hardware, such as PAC-3 Missile-Round Trainers for the U.S. Army, radioactive-waste canisters for the DOE, and space-qualified hardware for NASA.
- Recent hardware fabrication efforts include Army aviation flight hardware, parts for the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle, and commercial hardware for the oceaneering industry.
- Our Multipurpose Troop Transport Carrier System, tested in Iraq, can be mounted on the cargo bed of standard military trucks or used in a fixed position, providing armored protection against small-arms fire and IED blast threats.
- Teledyne Brown operates and maintains facilities used for high-value aerospace applications. For over three decades, we have supported MSFC as its Propellants, Pressurants, and Calibration contractor.
Analysis, design, development, manufacturing, integration, and operation--Teledyne Brown provides hardware and software solutions to demanding systems problems.
