Covering over 110,000 square feet, the Huntsville fabrication and assembly facilities of Teledyne Brown Engineering offer a wide capability for hardware manufacturing.
- From ground-support structures to compact space-flight electronics, we build prototypes, few-of-a-kind, and production hardware to the highest government and commercial standards.
- We apply Lean Manufacturing Principles, allowing us to provide the highest quality goods and services in the most efficient manner.
- Our mechanical fabrication capabilities include machining with multi-axis CNC equipment, sheet metal work, welding, assembly, and finishing.
- Capabilities in electronic manufacturing include printed-circuit card assembly, potting, molding, wiring, cabling, and testing.
- A 5,000 square foot facility is operated as a Class 100,000 (SI M6.5) clean room for the assembly of space-qualified systems.
- We hold ASME certificates for nuclear pressure vessels, piping systems, components, and transport packaging, and are authorized to use both the "N" and "NPT" Stamps.
- Registered to AS9100 and ISO-9001:2000, our processes include statistical control, closed-loop defect tracking and corrective action, computerized work-in-process tracking, and computerized material planning. We are also Program Critical Hardware certified.
