Extended Air Defense Simulation
Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM) is a many-on-many simulation, with combat models including air, missile, and space warfare.
- EADSIM is the most mature and widely used force-on-force
model, with
over 400 user agencies worldwide. It provides analysis, training, and
operational planning to the warfighter in one package.
- Teledyne Brown Engineering is the original and continuing
developer
of EADSIM, first deployed in 1989. Our seasoned staff can quickly
provide an operational federation with other simulations, simulators,
hardware drivers, C4I systems, and live platforms.
- We are ISO 9001 certified in Engineering Development and
Maintenance
of Software; Information Technology; and Modeling, Simulation and
Analysis. Our software development process is at Level 4 of the SEI CMM.
- Applications of the model by hundreds of users add to the confidence in EADSIM. It has received extensive examination by the user community, resulting in multiple accreditations. EADSIM is a charter member of the Digital Battlefield Sustainment Trainer, used for training leadership for units from battalion through Army.
EADSIM is managed by the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, as the executive agent for the Missile Defense Agency, with a government chief engineer overseeing the development, enhancement, and distribution. The basic model is provided without charge to qualified users.
