Scott Hudson, who has over 25 years of experience in business operations, was named Vice President of Administration in 2010. He has a strong background in project management, business development, program control, financial planning, proposal development, personnel management, and employee training. As vice president, he is responsible for setting strategic development, process improvement, implementation, and integration within Teledyne Brown’s support services groups and business operations. He oversees Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Proposal Center operations, Facilities, Security, and business processes.
Prior to his recent promotion to Vice President, Hudson held the position of Director of Business Development for the Aerospace Systems Division, managing multiple programs and leading high-performance organizations through process improvement, integration strategies, and business changes. He also developed strategic, solutions-oriented approaches to capture and grow new business. Prior to this position, Hudson served as Director of Business Management for Aerospace Systems and was responsible for directing, planning, evaluating, and controlling business and financial management operations, which resulted in more than doubling the financial growth of the division. His previous experience at Teledyne Brown included serving as Manager of the Cost Management Analysis Office and Lead Resource Management Specialist on the Payload Mission Integration Contract.
Hudson holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Athens State University. In addition, he holds certifications or has completed professional training classes in mergers and acquisition, program management and project planning, proposal writing, value-based pricing, Earned Value Measurement Systems (EVMS), Marketing Opportunity Analysis (MOA), Defense Systems Acquisition Management, and Program Management with Cost/Schedule Control Systems Criteria.
Hudson is a member of the National Space Club and the Armed Forces Communications-Electronics Association. He was the recipient of Teledyne Brown’s President’s Award, and he has served as chairman and board member of various charity and school organizations within the community.
