Ground Support Systems - Loader Ground Support Systems - FEDS

TBE has experience with the design and manufacture of ground support systems. Our experience includes tool kits, Flexible Engine Diagnostic Systems (FEDS), and aircraft loaders.

For the U.S. Army, TBE manufactured FEDS, which consists of five major assemblies. One of these assemblies, the Control Shelter, used an ISO container. This program included a substantial amount of mechanical and electrical assembly and integrated system testing.

TBE also produced the prototypes for the Next Generation 25K Loader for the Air Force. The project consisted of concurrent design and build of three units in a 9-month period. Our Engineering and Manufacturing groups were teamed to redesign the hydraulic system, develop a new drive-by-wire control system, design a new main deck system (powered rollers and side-shift), and perform stress analyses validated by testing.
