Operations Support

Teledyne Brown currently offers a number of areas of expertise within the operations support arena.  Key customersinclude the Missile Defense Agency, Space and Missile Systems Center, Joint Forces Command, Electronic Systems Command, and Electronic Proving Grounds.

Areas of Emphasis 

Missile Defense:  We provide end-to-end training support to operational- and strategic-level customers, supporting over 3,000 students annually.  Our customers receive instructions at the senior officer/executive, mid-level manager, junior leader, and technician levels.  Additionally, we support C2BMC development, wargames and exercises, ground testing, Information Technology services, and modeling and simulation.

System Engineering and Integration:  We provide support to the Global Positioning System (GPS) SE&I and the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP), with emphasis on system safety and risk management.  We have previously provided system safety engineering support to the Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS) Program.

Electronic Proving Grounds:  TBE directly supports the U.S. Army Electronic Proving Grounds in Sierra Vista, Arizona.  Emphasis is on two areas of testing – Integrated IR Countermeasures and Realistic Battlefield Environment/Electronic Attack.  Our support includes test planning, test conduct, test reporting, and field testing. 

Data Bases for the 21st Century (DB21):  We provide C2 SME support to the command headquarters staff at Air Combat Command.  Additionally, we provide engineering support for exercises and demonstrations in operational and experimental environments related to C2 and ISR in support of the Air Force Command and Control Integration Center (AFC2IC) and the Joint Expeditionary Forces Experiment (JEFX).

Distributed Common Ground Station – Experimental (DGS-X):  DGS-X is the focal point and “Center of Excellence” that supports the Air Force innovation process and performs transformational activities in support of the Joint, Component, MAJCOM, and Coalition forces.  DGS-X rapidly assesses and develops new capabilities for integration and fielding new technologies and capabilities into the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) Weapon System.

Professional Acquisition Support Services:  We provide non-personal advisory and assistance services to a broad range of non-engineering acquisition support to the Electronic Systems Command, including geographically separated units for development, acquisition, integration test, deployment, and sustainment of AF C4ISR Enterprise and Information Systems.

Joint Concept Development and Experimentation:  The Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) C2I project is focused primarily on intra- and inter-theater command and control of theater BMD within the integrated air and missile defense (IAMD) structure as it applies to the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) and the United States European Command (USEUCOM) areas of responsibility (AOR).

Analytical Intelligence Support:  We provide analytical intelligence support to the Defense Warning Office at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in Charlottesville, Virginia.  Tasking requirements include all-source intelligence research, knowledge -based development, data analysis integration, and reporting.

Course Development and Training

We provide the highest level of professional assistance in developing improved future military and national capabilities for the DoD and U.S. Government.  We provide end-to-end training support to operational- and strategic-level customers, supporting over 3,000 students annually. Our customers receive instructions at the senior officer/executive, mid-level manager, junior leader, and technician levels.
