- Secure - INSITE provides password-protected web access to
enterprise
information. A 128-bit encryption provides security for data
transmission. Hierarchical security limits access to user-authorized
information.
- Flexible and Comprehensive - INSITE enables addition of new
enterprises, such as projects and tasks, in a hierarchical manner. Each
enterprise has comprehensive data sets for technical and programmatic
information.
- Ease of Use - INSITE is intuitive to web users. The sidebar
hierarchical navigation enables users to "drill-down" through
organizational levels to the desired program, project, or task, then
select a variety of information.
- Platform Independent - INSITE requires only a browser to
access the
system. No plug-ins are required. The system was designed, developed,
and tested for full functionality on Mac, PC, and Unix platforms.
- Special Features - INSITE provides full-text, context-sensitive search capability. INSITE can notify users by e-mail based on system-driven events. INSITE has a full set of management support tools.
