Teledyne Brown Names Whisenant Vice President of Finance

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (October 23, 2007) — Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. (TBE) today announced the promotion of Jim Whisenant to Vice President of Finance, responsible for all financial operations. Whisenant, who has worked for Teledyne Brown for 33 years, most recently served as Director of Financial Analysis. He previously held positions of Controller, Manager of Budgets & Planning, and Financial Staff Accountant. Whisenant brings a strong background in strategic planning, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting, government contracts cost accounting, payroll, capital spending controls and labor distribution in a government/commercial contract environment. “It is my pleasure to welcome Jim to our executive team,” said Rex D. Geveden, president, Teledyne Brown. “His leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of the financial landscape will be at asset to us as we strengthen and grow Teledyne Brown’s business.” Prior to joining Teledyne Brown, Whisenant was employed as a Supervisor of Standard Cost Accounting for GTE Automatic Electric Company in Huntsville. Whisenant holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting. He is married and has two grown children.
