Teledyne Brown Names New Human Resources Director

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (January 4, 2006)— Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. (TBE) today announced that John A. Gamble has been promoted to the position of Human Resources Director. Gamble replaces John A. Logan who retired at the end of last year.

Gamble, who has been with the company since 1981, stepped into the new position on January 1, 2006. In his new role, Gamble will be responsible for planning, developing and directing all human resources activities, including employment, compensation, benefits, training and employee relations. He will also interact with upper management on corporate planning and policy making.

“John Gamble has done an outstanding job as Human Resources Manager,” said Jim Link, president, Teledyne Brown Engineering. “As a company, we strive to retain quality employees and promote from within. John has the knowledge, skills, and dedication to do an excellent job in his new position.”

Prior to joining TBE, Gamble worked as Planning Director for the North Alabama Health Systems Agency and the Mid-South Medical Center Council. He also served as a planner for the city of Huntsville.

He is very involved in the community, having founded, developed and served as Chairman of the North Alabama Business Group on Health and acted as Chairman of the Society for Human Resources Management, the Volunteer Center of Huntsville and Madison County, and the Huntsville Rehabilitation Foundation. In 2001, Gamble received the Inaugural John A. Gamble Visionary Award from the North Alabama Business Group on Health.

Gamble holds a Master of Science in Regional Planning from Memphis State University and a Master of Administrative Science from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Logan retires from TBE after almost 40 years with the company. Through his years at TBE, Logan has been a leader in Human Resources. He has been involved in all aspects of HR from developing employment programs, staffing, working with customers, other companies and government agencies on employee issues, developing policies, and managing HR activities.
