Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. (TBE) announced today that the company’s online AntiTerrorism (AT) Level I Training program has reached a milestone of training more than three million service members and civilians. Since the contract was awarded by the Joint Staff, Deputy Directorate for AntiTerrorism/Force Protection in October 2005, Teledyne Brown has improved usability, doubled the examples of terrorist case studies, expanded representation to include more geographic areas, added an online electronic library for anti-terrorism related information and expanded resources for DoD AntiTerrorism Officers. More than 1.3 million users annually satisfy the DoD’s AT awareness Level 1 training requirement using Teledyne Brown’s AT Level 1 Training program. With its subcontracting team of Williamson Research & Solutions and PowerTrain, Inc., Teledyne Brown maintains website content, provides user helpdesk support and assists the government with site maintenance. “This improved website will provide both civilians and service men and women with the most up to date antiterrorism training available,” said Rex D. Geveden, president, Teledyne Brown Engineering. “Education and information is key to keeping our nation safe from terrorists.” Teledyne Brown’s homeland security services also include strategic planning, installation and maritime security assistance, risk methodology development and acquisition support.
