Teledyne Brown to Support The University of New Orleans and Nasa

TELEDYNE BROWN TO SUPPORT
THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW ORLEANS AND NASA
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (May 24, 2007) — Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. (TBE) announced today that the company will be providing a wide range of manufacturing services as a subcontractor to the University of New Orleans (UNO) and NASA/Michoud Assembly Facility.
The work, part of the first phase of the transition from the Space Shuttle program to the Constellation program, will be performed at NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility near New Orleans. The National Center for Advanced Manufacturing (NCAM) is part of the Michoud facility and is run by the UNO. The upper stage of the Ares I will be built at Michoud utilizing the NCAM facility. NCAM is a partnership between NASA, the State of Louisiana and UNO.

Teledyne Brown will support the UNO by providing assistance
with the development of space flight qualified hardware and with
operational support of the NCAM facilities. Teledyne Brown has over 50
years of experience developing hardware for space flight applications.
