Teledyne Brown Earns AS9100 Registration

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (September 14, 2007) — Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. (TBE) announced today that the company has successfully completed the AS9100B Quality Management System Registration Audit. Teledyne Brown is now registered for both the ISO 9001:2000 and the AS9100B for its proven management systems. The AS9100 is an improved and enhanced version of the ISO9001:2000 that incorporates requirements focused on aerospace applications. “Many of our customers and potential customers are strongly recommending and/or requiring the AS9100 standard,” said Rex D. Geveden, president, Teledyne Brown. “This certification demonstrates to our customers that we have the discipline to help ensure that requirements are met and internal processes are continuously being enhanced to better serve their needs.” The week-long, third-party audit was conducted by Intertek, the TBE AS9100B Registrar. This milestone further enhances the prior TBE ISO9001 Registration held over the past nine and a half years.
