JBCP Volleyball Team Captures Top Honors
The 2011 Annual Volleyball Tournament was kicked off in early June to determine who would play for top honors at the company picnic later that month.

TBE Employees Receive Awards from NASA/MSFC
The Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) held its Annual Honor Awards ceremonies at the Morris Auditorium in July honoring over 200 employees and contractors. Two ceremonies were held – one recognizing those who made significant achievements to NASA’s mission at an agency level and one recognizing those who made outstanding mission contributions to the Center.
Teledyne Receives Marshall Space Flight Center Contractor Excellence Award for Fourth Time
Teledyne Brown Engineering was selected by NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) to receive the 2010 Contractor Excellence Award in the Large Business – Service category. This award is the highest honor given by MSFC, and 2010 marks the fourth time Teledyne Brown has won the award.

The International Space Station’s Expeditions 26 and 27 crew members and lead flight directors recently honored individuals and teams from NASA’s Payload Operations Center (POC) at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). They were recognized for responding to failures of space station components to save critical science data.

Cooper Named Executive Director of “Joining Forces”
CAPT. Brad Cooper, son of TBE’s Brad Cooper was recently named the Executive Director of “Joining Forces,” a White House program launched in April by First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden, wife of the vice president, to help support U.S. military members and their families.
NASA Mission Operations Laboratory Awards Presented
The NASA Mission Operations Laboratory (MOL) held their annual awards ceremony and party Aug. 5 at the activities building, Marshall Space Flight Center. Following opening remarks by TBE President Rex Geveden, Jay Onken, NASA MOL Director, presented MOL awards to the NASA and contractor teams.
