Munitions Disposal
For several years, Teledyne Brown Engineering has served as the prime contractor for the DoD's Non-Stockpile Chemical Demilitarization (NSCD) program. We have significant capabilities and experience in the handling and disposal of chemical as well as conventional munitions.
- Design, development, and testing of facilities for destroying chemical and conventional warheads and bulk material
- Design, development, and testing of explosive-containment apparatus, both fixed and transportable
- Selection and operation of instruments and instrumentation systems associated with weapons disposal
- State and local licensing and permitting, and interfacing with the Environmental Protection Agency
- Management, operations, and maintenance of mobile systems for detecting and neutralizing chemical materiel.
