Ground Support Equipment
A longstanding specialty of Teledyne Brown Engineering is the design and fabrication of highly specialized support hardware. From space programs to Department of Defense (DoD) military and flight hardware, we specialize in ground support equipment. All processes are AS9100 and ISO-9001 registered. Four highly diverse examples are:
- PAC-3 Ground Trainer - For the U.S. Army, our engineers designed a more cost-effective Missile Round Trainer for the PAC-3 missile system. The new monolithic design eliminated thousands of pieces and manufacturing operations.
- Rotating Stand Assembly - To meet a NASA need, we built a giant assembly for integrating International Space Station modules. It can hold a module and turn it a full 360 degrees for component integration and testing.
- C-17 Ground Support Equipment - We provide the U.S. Air Force with a variety of items including protective and maintenance platforms, reference standards, metal safety grates, hoist fixtures, rigging protractors, and conveyer assemblies.
- Flexible Engine Diagnostic System (FEDS) - TBE is supporting the U.S. Army Prototype Integration Facility in implementing modernization upgrades, providing system integration services, and manufacturing one system.
