Teledyne Brown Engineering has created an information-centric
knowledge-base system with a capability that significantly advances the
state of technology. By using collaborative agent decision support
technologies, we are able to transform data into context-relevant
information from which knowledge is generated and used.
- Our efforts are directed at a complete procedural systemization of
data collection, analysis, and processing that results in a structured,
contextually elaborated set of objects. These objects are interpreted by
intelligent software agents and rendered into knowledge constituents that
support the users needs.
- Improved facilitation is used to gather and analyze structured and
unstructured data elements and transform that data into a
lessons-learned/best-practice database.
- This database provides more than data or document management; it
represents knowledge by identifying relationships between seemingly
unassociated data through recognizing the context in which it was used.
