Homeland Security Risk Management
The Homeland Security Services Team of Teledyne Brown Engineering provides clients with a foundation of experience in risk management, tailoring proven tools and methods in meeting the challenges posed by a relentless and adaptive terrorist threat.
- We assisted the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in planning, designing, developing, and fielding a Maritime Security Risk Assessment Model for managing the risk of terrorist attacks in the Nation's seaports.
- Our staff performed analysis of threat attack models, identified an approach to insert viable threat input from the intelligence community, and designed software that met USCG needs for the collection, review, and analysis of this important data.
- We use an assess-plan-train/exercise-manage approach, starting with appreciation of the threat and cycling through management of resources to provide responsive changes in policy, procedures, training, exercises, and materiel solutions.
