Modeling, Simulation and Analysis

Surface Combat Models

Winning a joint military battle begins with careful analysis of integrated military operations. Teledyne Brown Engineering has years of experience covering a wide range of joint-force analysis scenarios using a diverse set of surface combat models and simulations. We utilize this experience to perform quick-reaction studies, fire-support trade studies and analysis of alternatives, and comparisons of tactics, techniques, and procedures. We also use our models as testbeds to study command/control simulation architectures.

Today's surface modeling in a force-on-force environment requires that more be done faster, at lower costs, with fewer resources, and with minimum user training -- all without sacrificing credibility. To meet this demand, Teledyne Brown has developed a new surface combat model, Joint Force Analysis Simulation (JFAS). JFAS incorporates traditional combat modeling algorithms in a Windows NT -based desktop computing environment.
