Headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, and with operations and offices throughout the United States, Teledyne Brown Engineering is a recognized leader in providing solutions in Defense, Space, and Environmental programs.- Started in 1953 to support rocket development at Redstone Arsenal, our company was the first high-technology firm established in Huntsville. Cummings Research Park, now the second largest park of its type in the Nation, was initiated by us.

- Teledyne Brown is the largest non-hardware contractor providing planning, development, testing, and logistical support to Ground-based Midcourse Defense, DoD's system to protect America from missile threats.
- We have supported every major U.S. space initiative. Teledyne Brown presently has a vital role in operating the International Space Station and provides space-qualified hardware for on-board research.
- Teledyne Brown develops and applies disposal systems for the non-stockpile chemical weapons demilitarization program, and is supporting DTRA's demolition of submarines of the former Soviet Union. Our radiological laboratory serves a wide range of customers.
- Software development has been central to our activities throughout the years. Our products, developed at SEI CMM Level 4, range from small software packages for systems analysis to high-fidelity, real-time distributed simulations.
- Teledyne Brown provides quality design and fabrication of mechanical and electronic products at competitive cost. With modern CAD systems and analysis tools, we design hardware ranging from microelectronics to massive structures.
- Our manufacturing facility has 110,000 square feet of space, including a machine shop with multi-axis CNC equipment and a large clean room. We are ISO-9001 compliant and are ASME N-Stamp certified.
- Teledyne Brown is a key business segment of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, a confederation of government-supporting and commercial companies. We became a Teledyne company in 1966.
