HUNTSVILLE, AL - December 1, 2016 - Teledyne Brown Engineering is pleased to announce the addition of Christ Crumbly to its Business Development and Strategic Acquisitions Group as the Vice President of Business Development for Civil and Commercial Space.
Crumbly retired from the Senior Executive Service at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) where he most recently managed the Space Launch System (SLS) Program’s Spacecraft/Payload Integration and Evolution Office. This role with NASA encompassed managing the development of spacecraft and payload interface hardware for SLS and leading the strategy for vehicle evolution through technical innovations.

Crumbly has served in a broad range of management roles with NASA to include Senior Policy Analyst for the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Congressional Liaison with NASA Headquarters, Special Assistant to NASA’s Deputy Administrator and Director of the Michoud Assembly Facility, where the Space Launch System’s core stage and the Orion spacecraft are being manufactured. His private-industry experience includes Senior Program Manager for Ball Aerospace and Vice President for NASA Programs at Quadrus Corporation.
Crumbly holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in aerospace engineering from Auburn University and is a graduate of the Program for Management Development from Harvard Business School. Crumbly also serves as an Associate Fellow in the American Aeronautics and Astronautics.
