Jan Hess, President of Teledyne’s Engineered Systems Segment, to Retire; Scott Hall to Succeed as President

Huntsville Ala, - March 11, 2022 -- Teledyne Technologies Incorporated announced today that Janice L. Hess, President of Teledyne's Engineered Systems Segment and Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc., will be retiring on July 31, 2022. Scott Hall will assume the role of President for the Engineered Systems Segment and Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. on March 21, 2022. Ms. Hess will work with Mr. Hall in a consultative role to ensure the company has the benefit of her years of experience until her retirement.

During her career at Teledyne, Ms. Hess held leadership positions in critical operational and financial roles. Since 2014, Ms. Hess has served as President of Teledyne's Engineered Systems Segment and Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. Before becoming President of the Engineered Systems Segment, Ms. Hess previously held roles of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for the segment.

Mr. Hall has worked on numerous, critical US Department of Defense, Department of Energy and NASA programs for 30 years, first as a small business owner and later with Teledyne. Mr. Hall began his career at Teledyne in 2004 as a program manager and has held various roles with increasing responsibility, most recently serving as Teledyne Brown's Senior Vice President for maritime and manufacturing since 2015. Mr. Hall and his maritime and manufacturing teams have successfully provided strong engineering and advanced manufacturing solutions for harsh environments in the space, defense, energy, and maritime industries.
