HUNTSVILLE, AL - April 4, 2016 - Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. (TBE) based in Huntsville, AL was named NASA’s Large Business Prime Contractor of the year for the Fiscal Year 2015. The announcement was made during the spring 2016 NASA Industry Forum meeting hosted by the agency’s Office of Small Business programs at NASA Headquarters in Washington DC. This award recognizes contractors for outstanding efforts in support of NASA’s mission. Nominations were received from all 10 NASA centers.

Teledyne Brown Engineering supported NASA’s International Space Station (ISS) Program Office with integration and operations product development for over 250 payload developers in 2015. The company provided over 8,600 continuous hours of real-time science operations support to ISS, including planning and training for multiple flight controllers and astronauts throughout the year. In addition, TBE made significant contributions to the Revolutionize ISS for Science and Exploration (RISE) efforts by streamlining processes for research utilization aboard ISS. TBE also provided technical expertise for hardware and software products during all phases of development for the Microgravity Science Glovebox and Research Rack.
