HUNTSVILLE, AL - March 4, 2015 – Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. announced today it was awarded a Task Order with the U.S. Army and Missile Defense/Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT) under the Test Execution Services and Launch Augmentation (TESTLA) IDIQ Contract to provide support for the sustainment, enhancement, maintenance, and use associated with the Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM).
EADSIM is used by operational commanders, trainers, and analysts to model and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of ballistic missiles, surface-to-air missiles, aircraft, and cruise missiles in a full operational context. EADSIM is the most mature and widely used simulation of its kind and has over 300 worldwide users across Department of Defense and internationally.
Teledyne Brown is the original developer of EADSIM and has been providing continuous development and maintenance for over 25 years.
