HUNTSVILLE, AL - June 3, 2016 - Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc., a Huntsville, AL based Teledyne Technologies Incorporated company, is celebrating its progress on the Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) program and was recently selected as the Framework of Record for the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA’s) GTI-06 Part 2 Test Event. This is a significant milestone for the MDA’s evolution of the OSF where Teledyne Brown Engineering (TBE) is the Prime contractor. Steve Kuffner, Teledyne Brown Engineering Executive Vice President for Program Execution, noted that “OSF is now supporting ‘runs for record’ in the largest, most complex ground test ever conducted by MDA, more closely simulating the real-world conditions for the Ballistic Missile Defense System. TBE is honored that MDA has selected us for this important capability for our nation’s defense.” TBE'S role is performed under the OSF indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract under a task order valued at $61.8 million. TBE continues its extensive development of the OSF, which began in September of 2011, and involves the design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and sustainment of the OSF as well as the legacy framework the Single Stimulation Framework (SSF). The OSF supports full scale simulations, ground tests and live fire events and is the core test and simulation framework for elements of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS).
