As Vice President of Mission Systems, Mitch Icard leads multiple programs supporting Defense and Aerospace customers worldwide. The Mission Systems Business Unit delivers products and services that include systems engineering and integration, software development, modeling and simulation, test and evaluation, medical logistics planning, and missile targets.

Icard has over 20 years of experience in operations, finance, business development, and product management for both government and commercial programs. He joined Teledyne Energy Systems in Hunt Valley, Maryland in 2008 as the Director of Finance and Administration with responsibilities over information systems, contracts, export compliance, and accounting. Icard was promoted to Director of Operations and Hydrogen Systems with responsibilities focused on the management of the company’s Hydrogen Generation business unit to include product development, sales, service, logistics, and production. Icard was later promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Teledyne Energy Systems where he expanded the company’s technology focus in the fields of electrolytic, thermoelectric, and fuel cell systems for solutions from subsea to space. Icard has extensive international business experience securi​ng projects and leading contract negotiations with a focus on the Middle East, China, India, and Korea.

Prior to joining Teledyne Energy Systems in 2008, Icard held several financial, project management, and operational positions at Motorola Inc., supporting the Federal Government Market Division, a $1B unit of Motorola.

Icard holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Towson University and an MBA from Loyola University.
