Over the course of 8 years, TBE manufactured more than 2,000 nuclear waste storage canisters for the Savannah River Site. These canisters were manufactured in our Huntsville, Alabama, facility using a leading-edge automatic robotic welding system. Every weld received full radiography to ensure that no defects occurred. Each canister was then subjected to pressure testing and helium leak testing prior to shipment preparation.
