Dr. Dwight Mosby

Dr. Dwight Mosby serves as Vice President of Space and Advanced Technologies at Teledyne Brown Engineering. He brings more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning NASA and industry, with expertise in spacecraft and vehicle systems, human exploration development, and mission operations. His previous roles at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center include Deputy Manager of Human Exploration Development and Operations and Manager of the Payload and Mission Operations Division, where he led multidisciplinary engineering teams supporting programs such as the Space Launch System (SLS), Human Landing System (HLS), Commercial Crew, Mars Ascent Vehicle, and the Multipurpose Habitat.
Dr. Mosby began his career at Teledyne Brown Engineering in Space Operations, where his leadership contributed to the company earning NASA's Large Prime of the Year Award and Mentor-Protégé of the Year Award for the Mission Operations and Integration (MO&I) program. He is committed to fostering diverse, high-performing teams that drive innovation and mission success.
He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Physics from Clark Atlanta University and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska. His distinguished career has been recognized with numerous honors, including MSFC Technical Person of the Year, the Silver Achievement Award, Spaceflight Awareness Award, Silver Snoopy Award, and the MSFC Director's Commendation.
