As the Vice President of Finance & Chief Financial Officer for Teledyne Technologies' Engineered Systems Segment (ESS), Paul May provides strategic financial leadership for a diverse portfolio of advanced technology programs.

In this role, Paul oversees Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Program Control, Proposal Pricing, and Business Administration. He is responsible for advancing financial rigor, strengthening operational efficiency, and enabling long range strategic priorities across the segment.

Paul joined Teledyne in 2022.  Before his role as Chief Financial Officer, May served as Senior Director of Finance & Business Operations for Teledyne Brown Engineering, where he enhanced forecasting accuracy, elevated financial controls, and improved business performance. His prior leadership roles include Director of Business Operations at Aerojet Rocketdyne, Chief Operating Officer of Yulista Holding, LLC, and Director of Finance at DRS Technologies.

Paul holds an MBA and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of West Florida, along with a B.S. in Applied Economics from East Carolina University. He has also completed executive education programs at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
